Morton’s Neuroma

Does it feel like you are walking on a marble or do you have ongoing pain in your forefoot; you may have a condition called a Morton’s Neuroma. A Morton’s Neuroma is a thickening of nerve tissue in the space between the toe bones (inter-metatarsal space). Dear Valued Patients, As you know, we are in a 3 week Lockdown from Thursday 12th August to Thursday 2nd September.  PODIATRY is considered an Essential Service so we are allowed to stay open, HOWEVER, we have been advised by ACT HEALTH to only treat  “emergency appointments or to see patients which, if care is delayed, an adverse outcome may result”. If you do not understand or have a question regarding your level of potential “adverse outcome”, please give us a call or email and we can assess your case file individually. Sever’s Disease

Why is my child limping after sport? Now that winter sport is well underway, there has been an increase in children presenting to the clinic with heel pain. Sever’s Disease is often the culprit. Severs, which is also called Calcaneal Apophysitis, is a swelling and irritation of the growth plate in the heel bone.
